Sunday Coupon Preview 4/23/11--NO Inserts!

Since I normally write up a post each weekend letting you know which inserts to expect, I thought I would write one up this week to let you know there will NOT be any inserts this weekend!  A lot of times on holidays coupon inserts are not included in the newspapers.  So, instead of rushing out to the store to pick up a paper or two and spending time clipping & organizing your coupons, you can now relax and enjoy this Easter with your family.  I plan on celebrating the resurrection of my Savior, Jesus Christ by going to church, having lunch with my family, and maybe decorating and hunting eggs that afternoon! And....maybe since there are no new inserts this week I'll have time to go through and reorganize my box.  I know I have some expired coupons in there that need to be taken out!

After my Walgreens trip today, I decided to run into Apple Market to pick up some more goodies!  I spent a little more than usual--$18, but I did get my ham for Sunday, so I think I can be okay with that total! :)

Walgreen Shopping Trip :: 8 Items for Just 89 Cents!

Walgreens trip today was a success!!  I paid $.89 OOP for everything pictured, BUT I received a $3 RR, so I actually got paid $2.11 to take these items out of the store!!! I love it!!

Oh, and there were three bags of m&m's but something happened to one of them.....maybe I ate it on the way home!?!?!? 

Here's what I did:

Goody Ouchless hair accessories $3 = $3 RR
Final cost FREE!

Buy 3 Scotch Magic Tapes for $1.99 total with in-ad coupon
Use 2 $1/1 printable coupons
Free after coupons (give manufacturer’s coupons first, then in-ad coupon in order to prevent beeping)

Aquafresh Training Toothpaste (1.5 oz) or Kids Toothpaste (4.6 oz) $1.99
Use the $.75/1 printable found here
Plus, stack with the $1/1 Walgreens coupon found in the April coupon booklet = $.24

Total = $1.17

My total came to $4.17 and I had a $4 RR I was wanting to pay with from last week, so I added some laffy taffy to get over the tax amount.  I used my $4 RR and paid $.89 OOP, then a nice $3RR printed out for next week.  SO, I ended up making $2.11 this week!  Woohoo! :)
