My Nichols Shopping Trip :: Everything I Bought for Just $6.11 (plus tax)

Today was my weekly Nichols shopping trip and I felt like it was another fun and successful trip!


Here's what we bought:


I couldn't keep my daughter from climbing in the chair long enough to get a picture.  :)

Russet Potatoes, 10lb bag, $1.99

Onions, 3lb bag, $.99

(1) Bumble Bee Tuna, used $1/1 HERE = FREE

(2) Starkist Tuna Pouches, used (2) $.50/1 printables (this was not the best price, but my coupons were expiring in a couple of days) = $.49 each (2 transactions)

 (2) Nathan's Hot Dogs, used (2) $1/1 printables previously available = both for FREE (2 transactions)

(1) Kraft Fresh Take Cheese & Breadcrumb Mix, used $1/1 printable  = $.99

(2) Mission Tortilla Chips, used (2) $1/1 printables previously available = $1.09 each (again, not best price, but my coupon was about to expire)

(2) Band-Aid boxes, used (2) $1/1 printables previously available = $.35 each

(2) Secret Deodorants, reg. price $2.59, price matched to Family Dollar for $2.25, used (2) $1/1 coupons = $.25 each (2 transactions)

(2) Lady Speed Stick, reg. price $1.89, price matched to Family Dollar for $1.50, used (2) $1/1 coupons = FREE (2 transactions)

Total amount BEFORE coupons :: 35.32

Total amount AFTER coupons :: $6.11 (plus $1.76 tax)

That's 83% savings!!

  1. I don't know what your Mission Tortilla chips are normally, but here (San Diego) the regular price is $4.99/ea. & I get all excited when they are 2/$5. I rarely buy tortilla chips because of this! Crazy!! Good haul!!

  2. Hi Bonnie, Thanks!! Ours were not on sale this week (I wish they had been), but I wanted to use my coupon because it was going to expire and we love chips and salsa! LOL. The regular price is $3.09, so just $1.09 after the coupon doubled!
