Walgreens new Balance Rewards Card Program is officially started.  If you haven’t signed up you can sign up now online!  I filled mine out and you can too to start earning points today!

**Note that I am still somewhat unsure how the Balance Rewards system will work, but I do have a few updates from last week.  It appears that manufacturer coupons do not affect whether or not you receive the rewards.  Also, it appears that we can receive more than one reward per transaction on the same products. One downside that I’ve learned is that we cannot roll the rewards from transaction to transaction.  In other words, if you cash in your rewards on a purchase you will not earn any rewards on that particular purchase. I think I’ll just make sure to do reward earning transactions when I’m not planning on paying with my rewards and buy non reward earning products when I want to cash them in!
