I just wanted to say a big THANK YOU to everyone who attended the coupon class tonight! I hope that I was able to inspire some of you to start (or continue) saving money. But, I also wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed meeting you all. It was such an encouragement to me!
Even if you weren’t able to attend the fun coupon class last night, this post will still really help you get started here on The Frugal Family Life!
If you would like to subscribe to the The Frugal Family Life email updates you may do so at this link. This is just a daily e-mail that has all of the deals I posted from the whole day, so you will never miss a deal.
First of all, here is a series I recommend you read just to help you get started. I wrote a few years ago.
· Part 1--Why should I use coupons? What exactly is couponing? Can I really save money if the store brand is cheaper? All the coupons are for products I don't buy, should I clip them anyway?
· Part 2--What should I do to get started?
· Part 3--Where can I find coupons?
· Part 4--Organizing Coupons and Learning the Language.
· Part 5--Let's Go Shopping
· Part 6--What should I do when my coupons expire?
· Part 7--When should I use my coupons?
· Part 8--How do you have time to use coupons?
I also highly recommend signing up for some survey companies to make a little extra Christmas and birthday cash! Here are my favorites and ones that I trust!
Pinecone Research: This is my personal favorite survey site. They pay $3 promptly for every survey completed.
My Survey: This would probably be my second favorite. You take the surveys and earn points. You can redeem your points earned for cash or prizes and every 1000 points equals $10.
iPoll: Pays in point rewards for every completed survey. You can cash these in for instant win opportunities, sweepstakes, or cash.
Toluna: Pays in point rewards as well that can be redeemed in cash when you reach a certain amount.
Opinion Outpost: Rewards include cash, Amazon gift cards, game points, donations to your favorite charities, and more.
Also, if you haven’t signed up for Swagbucks, it is a super way to earn Amazon gift cards from doing things you already do on the internet! You can sign up and then just use them as your search engine to start earning points. You can also answer daily polls, take surveys or all kinds of activities to earn more points. The best thing is that only 450 points = a $5 Amazon gift card! I have received HUNDREDS of dollars in Amazon gift cards through using Swagbucks! *The toolbar is safe to download. I’ve had it on my computer for a long time and it helps me earn more swagbucks quicker!
